About Me

Hello there! I’m so happy you stopped by!

a little about me….

Born and raised in Wisconsin but have always had a yearning for the west. I have an undying love for the great outdoors, I’m an adventurer, backpacker, horse driver, gardener, a wife and mother of 4 (and all the trades that go along with this). You mothers and wives know what I’m talking about.

You will often find me trying new recipes, experimenting with DIY projects or planning a new place to visit or a great place to return to. I even may get a bit overly excited if you suggest a new location or city to broaden my horizon.

My desire to become a photographer came when I wanted nothing more then to capture the laughter and joy, sweetness and innocence, and real life moments of my children growing up. Kids like to be kids and mine are no exception. They get dirty, run around with excitement and scream when they find a big rain puddle to jump in. If yours are anything like mine, I can’t wait to meet your loving family and join them splashing around in that next puddle.

my style…

I’m a lifestyle photographer, fond of natural light, authentic moments and stories of love. Every couple, family and child has their own unique story that makes them so special. It’s not my goal to capture the “flawless traditional posed portraits” where there is little emotion and cheesy smiles. My goal is to capture the bonds you share, the quiet and loud moments, the pure joy of being surrounded by loved ones and those playful smiles of a child being well, a child.

The best part about being so passionate about what I do is connecting with the people I work with. Don’t be surprised when you see me engaging in play with your little ones or shedding a tear when you say “I do”. My clients start off as strangers and end as good friends.

Life flies by in the blink of an eye and it is my hope to help you freeze those timeless moment so you can look back at them for year to come.

Thanks for stopping by and I can’t wait to hear from you!
